Willdabeast has certainly been making their mark on the music scene this year, their recent singles and album release on Muti Music has been incredibly well received with playlist features on many profiles including the likes of; ThisSongIsSick, Noiseporn, ElectricHawke, Bass Face by Kraddy, EDM.com, Defunk’s Dirty Funky Bass Music playlists … and many more.
Blog features include Headbang Society twice (link1 & link 2) , Surviving The Golden Age, even a French blog, Infomusic.fr and others.
and we love this feature on Cascadia Daily News probably the most because of their intimate knowledge of the band and the great way they write about them.

An-ten-nae‘s latest single is Underground ft. High Tara, released on our sister label, Medicine.
Over the past few years An-ten-nae has delved deep into the deepest sides of 140 Dubstep / Deepstep, while simultaneously holding onto his signature brand of acid crunk / acid driven bass music. On his most recent release, we hear that evolution in full bloom, the baselines are warm and heavy, there are plenty of wobbly wubs, some great vocals and acid lines and atmospheric sound design that develops into it’s own unique piece of treasure.
The tune has received over 120 000 streams in its first week online and we are absolutely overjoyed to see it featured on some of the largest playlists on Spotify, including Dance Hits, which is the largest Editorial playlist on Spotify for Dance Music. The Bass heavy playlist, Sub Low has also featured the tune and we are incredibly grateful to see a lot of people adding it to their collections and own playlists.
This tune is a single from An-ten-nae‘s forthcoming album , The Space Beneath The Light, which will be dropping everywhere on April 14 2023.

Nikes has been picking up quite a bot of attention with his latest EP, The Churchill.
The EP is a deep listening journey that moves between experimental Halftime and Trap influenced beats with strong atmospheric elements and beautifully jazzed up DnB & Liquid Drum & Bass tunes. The sound design and melodies create thick emotional moods that vary from deep and introspective to jazz influenced playfulness and then uplifting melodies that roll easily over flowing beats.
The DJ response on this one has been great and DNB Dojo featured the tune Wallup on their latest mix by DJ Hex, listen here.
Nikes was also featured on The Blend 106.7FM in Melbourne Australia.
Nikes will also be playing the Dislabel event on March 31 with a stacked lineup including The Librarian, LMajor, Anna Morgan, Liquid Giraffe, Nikes, Whys & Trinity Gia.
We are really stoked to see Cthulhu Basscraft featured on ThisSongIsSick and HeadbangSociety for his new release, Legends Never Die.
Cthulhu Basscraft has always had quite a knack for large Reece basslines and deep subs, his latest outing has more of an Ivy Lab-esque sort of influence and he still manages to bring a good growl into it. It appears that this new direction has caught the ear of a few great Blogs and we are stoked to see it featured on ThisSongIsSick, who also said “…Cthulhu Basscraft, finds himself right in the apex of the hard-hitting bass scene…” and a whole lot of other great words about the release.
Legends Never Die was also featured on Headbangsociety, where they interviewed Cthulhu Basscraft about the release.
They also said “This track is a stomper from start to finish with its low, driving bassline and electric synths, entrancing listeners from the very first measure…”

Willdabeast got together with HeadbangSociety.com to answer some questions about their music making process, their origins and influences and some lessons that they’ve learned along the way and also premiered their debut tune on Muti Music, On One.
This tune is a sneak preview of the awesome vibes to expect on their forthcoming release ‘Superhighway Afterglow’, coming out on March 24 on Muti Music,
We are incredibly grateful to HeadbangSociety.com for their premiere of the tune Sticky, from Iterate‘s new release, Buffer.
They also asked Andrei / Iterate a few questions and got into some details about his career and his productions.
You can read all about it here!
We are overwhelmed with the positive reception to the new compilation 20 Years Of Muti. This one means a lot to us and we really appreciate everyone writing, listening and adding to their playlists.
We’d like to give a special shoutout to the sites who’ve already written great reviews about the compilation and we will link to them here.
If you’ve ever been a fan of Andreilien or Heyoka, then you are familiar with the quirky genius of Andrei Olenev, if not, then you are most definitely in for a special treat.
The man, the myth (because he rarely interacts on social media) and the person behind a large amount of musical and visual art, including some incredible hand made jewelry, that he designs, molds and refines from start to finish.
Well he shifted his production DAW to Bitwig, built some incredibly complex regenerative sound generators and sampling blocks and changed his production moniker to Iterate.
The launch of the new moniker occurs this week on the 20 Years Of Muti compilation and does not dissapoint. The beats are like Andreilien and Heyoka had a baby with alien DNA insemination. That tune is followed by a two track explosion on his release, Buffer, coming out on December 2nd and then his album called Seed that will be dropping at the start of 2023.
He launched Iterate with an all original new set that he dropped at a few camps at Burning Man, the highlight being the thousands gathered for his set at Camp Questionmark and then he repeated the mind blowing performance headlining Raindance Campout and at our stage at HowWeird Street Faire. If the audience response at those shows were a valid indication, then we know you’ll be as stimulated by these new tunes as we are.

20 Years Of Muti drops everywhere on 18 November 2022, it features outstanding new tunes from some of our favorite artists that we have worked with at Muti Music.
However you can download the release now on Beatport, as they have a two week exclusive for DJs and other download fans to get it first.
The compilation kicks off in party mode with Opiuo doing what he does and bringing absolutely great dance vibes. MiMOSA, Iterate (formerly Andreilien / Heyoka), AAYA (with her debut), Dov1 and Re:Set all drop various versions of halftime DnB, ranging from a good wobble, to heady glitch and some anthemic melodies. ill.Gates & Solkata, Morillo, Jake Robertz & Oli Orval, and Ape Suit all go on the deeper and trippy side of 140 Deep Dubstep, while An-ten-nae elevates that deep vibe with some gorgeous melodies that are followed by a beautiful Wave track by Gladkill. We then drop into a couple tunes by Djunya and Nikes, heavily influenced by Juke / Footwork and round off nicely with two Drum & Bass tunes full of deep melodic vibes, by Mat The Alien and Origin.
Muti Music has continued to support emerging and established genres of bass music for the past 2 decades. Sometimes referred to as the US first multi-genre Bass music label and serving as the launchpad or continuation of more than 100 artists careers, and helping build up a few notable names along the way. We thank all the bass music fans that have helped us get this far and continue to release dynamic new sounds reflecting our urban futurist culture.
