The Daily Frequency Interview
MiM0SA is by all respects a seminal artist that we have released on Muti Music.
Having met and worked with MiM0SA since his late teens, he has also been an artist that has helped shape not just the sounds released on Muti Music, but the emergence of the west coast sound of bass music from 2008 onwards.
The Daily Frequency is a pretty epic Blog and we are stoked that they chose to interview MiM0SA about his career and his new release, All I Know.

Mah Ze Tar & Akriza get reviewed on Beat For Beat
Beat For Beat is a fantastic site from Brazil that covers diverse electronic music and culture.
We were stoked to see the tune , Jaipur by Mah Ze Tar and Akriza reviewed on their website.
You can read the review here!
The tune is from their recent release Metropolis
This release transports the listener to a fantastic world of soothing beats, Persian ballads, exotic instrumentation, gritty basslines, beautiful atmospherics and incredible melodies. This new EP by Mah Ze Tar and Akriza provides all of that and more. The elevated mindset of these two talents working together is a potent combination and very pleasing to the ear.
Māh Ze Tār is propelled by the vision of fusing traditional eastern music with modern electronic composition as a form of cultural preservation. Each Māh Ze Tār set is uniquely dynamic- The listener can expect to hear the ancient sounds of the Sitar and Oud in one song and the timeless melodies of the Hulusi, Ney and Duduk in the next- bringing a kaleidoscope of emotions through the wide plethora of ancient sounds, mesmerizin g vocals, and grooving beats. Māh Ze Tār seeks to make familiar that which seems “other” through serving the sounds of distant lands on a platter of familiar body moving bass lines and thumping grooves. Māh Ze Tār is an active performing member of Balkan Bump and has had significant musical collaborations with Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, Jef Stott, Morillo, Akriza, Nyrus and many others. Notable performances- Red Rocks, Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Shambala, Gem & Jam, Joshua Tree, Lucidity, Symbiosis, Oregon Eclipse, Burning Man, Oregon Country Fair, Haurkaze Tokyo Festival
Akriza is a visionary multi-instrumentalist and world-influenced electronic music producer from Northern California. Blending global sounds with bass-driven electronic beats, his music ignites mind, body, and spirit. Akriza’s epic compositions transport listeners across musical landscapes, from bangers to emotional journeys. With performances at Envision, Burning Man, and Unison festivals, and releases on Odyzey and Gravitas, Akriza continues to push boundaries. His live sets feature piano, violin, and live looping, creating a unique, movement-inspiring experience.

Great review on Hearditherefirst Blog Audiovoid has a new 15 Track album – Down With It
There is also a great review of this album on Hearditherefirst.Blog
From our point of view, this album is full intensity, no holds barred electronic music, awe inspiring sound design, beautifully generated synth sounds and melodies that are both epic and almost nostalgic sounding.
Imagine Aphex Twin and Orbital meeting up with Eprom, G Jones and edIT and they have a field day of epic beat making and sound design, this may result in similar sounds to Audiovoids’ Down With It.
Audiovoid returned last year with 3 of the tunes on this album and showed he hadn’t skipped a step, in fact he’s pushed his production levels even further.
Previously receiving praise for his productions from the likes of Tipper, Si Begg & Brendan Angelides (ESKMO / Welder) and in the early 2ks, featured in Big Shot Magazine, and had comparisons to heady producers like Neil Landstrumm, Ital Tek and Andy Page. He’s been featured on labels IOT Records, Addictech, IVDT, MDEX, Crunch Pod, Cyberset, Psyber Tribe, Mechanismz and of course Muti Music.

HowWeird Street Faire 2024
So we did it again, we hosted our stage with our partners at Northern Nights at HowWeird Street Faire once again.
Have a look at video clips of many of the sets on our Instagram.
HowWeird Street Faire is now the longest running electronic music festival / faire on the US west coast and we are honored to have been the longest running music stage at this faire.
This year was capped with the appearance of Plastician for the closing slot of the day, and it was a day filled with epic sets by Iterate, BOGL, Dov1, Dragonfly, Salva, CANNABASS, Duchess, and Tasstik. We were also gifted with the debut of AAYA playing her first set of all original tunes. She debuted her first DJ set at HowWeird a few years ago and it’s truly amazing to see her flourish into the talent that she is becoming. Her second release on Muti Music also happen to drop this coming week.
Our little Muti baby also made his first street faire appearance in hi Muti baby Merch.

Expanding our label group / collaborators >>> False Idol Muzik, Between The Silence
You may not be familiar with our sister labels and we would like to highlight them for you.

Don’t Step by Willdabeast & Torbjørn getting high praise …
The newest single from Willdabeast ‘Don’t Step’ is a teaser towards their forthcoming album, Beneath The Surface due out April 2024 on Muti Music. This tune is a collaboration with Torbjørn, who bring forth his fresh flavor of hard hitting bass lines and crispy fresh production & vocals to couple alongside Willdabeast’s signature sounds.
Willdabeast are the sort of artists that constantly remind us why we love working with that freeform attitude towards bass music and its fountain of sub-genres. This duo brings out an uplifting, fresh and enthusiastic vibe to the scene, so strong it becomes contagious.
This new release by Willdabeast & Torbjørn has been receiving a bunch of press and its all very favorable.
Artists like Defunk and Kraddy have included it on their playlists, Stickybuds gave them a shoutout and we have three great articles linked below that review the release, including a great little interview with HeadBang Society.

Nahlith and Mah Ze Tar make the perfect blend of Persian Traditional Instrumentation and Dubstep
Link to listen while reading:
You may know that we have a couple. sister labels to Muti Music and one of them is Medicine.
This latest project on Medicine is one that we are particularly fond of:
Nahlith & Mah Ze Tar – Ancients
Ancient melodic echoes of the East meet the deep bass pockets of post-modern electronic composition.
From the artists:
“This musical journey arose out of a collaborative desire to make music that transcends borders. In a time of great division, the artists feel a strong need to find the threads of harmony in the unified fields of frequency. This EP is a masterful collaboration between Nahlith and Mah Ze Tar, capturing a wide range of emotional & somatic audacity while preserving cultural significance. Mah Ze Tar incorporates the Oud, Sitar, Saz, Ney, Duduk, and Persian vocal chanting over the cutting edge deep bass grooves created by Nahlith. These two artists come together to take us on a musical journey across time, space, and sacred sites. “
Nahlith is a Canadian, Victoria BC based producer, specializing in deep wobbles and beautifully flowing beats.
He’s made his mark on the deep Dubstep sound very quickly, with releases on Duploc, Medicine, LDH, Nomine Sound, D-BLK, Cimmerian Records, FKOF, Prime Audio, WiddFam and SUB garden.
Māh Ze Tār is a musical fusion project by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Maz Karandish. This project was propelled by the vision of fusing traditional Eastern music with modern electronic composition as a form of cultural preservation. Maz is quickly becoming a known figure amongst world and bass music producers with his solo performances and collaborations with the likes of Balkan Bump, David Starfire, Jeff Stott, Akriza and Nahlith.
