Typecell is the stage name of German electronic music producer and DJ Guido Hoppe, best known for his deep, futuristic take on drum and bass. Active since the 1990s, he began producing under the alias DJ P.M.C. before launching the Typecell project around 1999–2000 to explore a fusion of techno, techstep, and neurofunk influences. He is also the founder of the independent labels Protogen Records and Subplate Recordings, both of which have played a role in promoting forward-thinking, underground drum and bass. His productions are characterized by dark atmospheres, intricate sound design, and a cinematic, techno-infused aesthetic, earning him a respected reputation within the international D&B scene. All in all these three tunes manage to take you on another journey, the composers metal and fantasy influences are strongly present, but newly formed.
