rLook says, "This is an EP I made while living on an island in the Florida Keys for the past 2 years. It reflects myexperiences there, both beautiful and hard.” rLook is an artist introduced to us by another artists that we truly respect, namely Re:Set from Berlin. We immediately gravitated towards his sound that utilizes varying aspects of Drum & Bass as the palette for his latest production. The Wisteria EP brings life to well edited breaks and cuts with uplifting melodies, atmospheric pads lift an entire tune and are reminiscent of some of our favorite classics, sometimes augmented with some epic 303 sounding acid tweaks. Stylistically the EP blends Neuro Drum & Bass with classic rave and EDM melody elements and it all blends into a perfect melting pot of uplifting energy and good vibes. Artist statement: I have often seen my life as an opportunity to demonstrate my own perspectives. My music and art is an extension of the experiences I've had and a chance to share a piece of them with others. The way I see the world is the same as some and different than many, and the work I create reflects that. Shared experiences may unite people and strengthen the feeling of human connection. We value the work of others, not just the resulting products, and admire each other’s feelings that are communicated via the arts. Technological tools create exciting new possibilities and also the opportunity to reflect on what our true values are.
