They both have cult like followings of emerging producers, Andrew Huang with his Youtube following and ill.Gates with his Producer Dojo and live Facebook production sessions. They both seem to dedicate themselves to learning every piece of music gear and software that they can get their hands on. They both have obtained some sort of mastery of Ableton Live. The list goes on, but more pertinent to this press sheet is the fact that they are both on the recent episode of 4 Producers Flip The Same Sample on the Andrew Huang channel. In this episode, 4 producers, each created a whole song is based on a 6 second cell phone video of a door hinge, this single is the result coming from ill.Gates. He warped vocals by Mayor Apeshit, and created a heavy hitting tune, that includes all the tricks, wiggles, wubs, wobbles, squanches (possibly door squeaks manipulated) and bleeps, riding those fine lines between Trap and Dubstep and some very edgy and futuristic Hip Hop.
