These guys have been turning heads this summer with massive showings at LOCUS DNB BALI, LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE, BASSCOAST, SHAMBHALA and at SAMSARA. This new tune is just a small sampling of the energized vibe these guys bring to a dance floor. This one is a moment of hype and a tension that is built and held by the vocal chops and percussive elements. The crunchy 808 bass hammers in and creates some release, this is a great one for holding a certain energy on the dance floor. Twin brothers, troublemakers, and lifelong bass heads, Dust + Beau share more than DNA—they share a creative language. Rooted in drum & bass, jungle, UK garage, breaks and 140, their sound pulls from underground bass culture while refusing to stay inside its lines. As DJs and producers, they twist familiar sounds into something distinctly their own: heavy, playful, gritty and unpredictable. Born in sync, raised on bass. No rules, just rhythm. Expect the unexpected. Artist quote about the release: DUST: Bassline Youth came from wanting to mess with the edges of Drum & Bass. Distorted 808s, glitchy vocals, and robotic elements all collide in a structure that doesn’t really play by the usual rules. It’s heavy, playful and a little outside the box—our take on pushing DnB somewhere unexpected. BEAU: “Bassline Youth” came from wanting to explore a different side of drum & bass. It moves at DnB tempo, but it was never meant to be a banger. It’s more introspective—a track to get lost in, think about life for a minute, and let yourself feel whatever comes up. We wanted to show that bass music can hit emotionally without always having to hit hard.
