Saturday March 13th

Hung-over and driving through sleet and snow I thought of San Francisco going through it 80 plus degree heatwave, we had to stop for some pictures in the snow.
Got to Madison also known as ‘Madtown’ for reasons I now understand and started with a Jack & Coffee to get the evening started, deal with the hangover and get a little energy.
I played @ Warm @ the Mercury bar with AKA JK and Krafty. It was a more chill/groovy breaks set with tracks by Red Star, SOTO, that Requiem boot etc
We then headed over to the Blue Fin (where I would be playing on the Monday) as Charles Feelgood was there and we thought it might be good too check out. His mixing was tight and the crowd was into it, but the beats were not really my vibe, so after heading back to Warm and then another after party, we headed homeward where Xeke and the lovely Nickee were hosting me and I could finally crash.

Sunday March 14th
I wondered around Madison with the crew, it is a nice looking city (very much a college town) with all medium high buildings, because none of them are allowed to be taller than the state capital building that is located downtown. Anyway I found us on a kiosk downtown >>>>
I also went to MC Audio where Xeke works and they have the dopest audio gear, they are big on Bag End sound, my personal favorite for breaks, they have a solid breaks selection of vinyl, both backstock and new releases.
I had a mission to try as many of the local Brews as were available while I was there as some folks had told me Mid-West beers were really good. Fat Tire and Capital beers stood out from the rest.

Monday March 15th
I played at Shivan at the Blue Fin thrown by Nickee who is head of Syrenity Productions.
Jeremy AKA Krafty and the club owner tried to get me too drunk to play by feeding me an endless supply of Cutty Black (100% proof) and Jamesons shots. Nevertheless the set went down well and the more ragga style breaks I played that night were well accepted, Dissolvent dropped some wicked beats too along with Krafty.
And back to the house we went for an ‘after-bar’ again.
