Info:
The Sweatshop EP is the  first sampler from the forthcoming album ‘Autopirate’ by ill.gates that will be relaunching the honorable Mr. - ‘The Phat Conducter’ as ‘ill.gates’ to the masses.

Featuring the bass cabinet jarring dubstep track ‘Sweatshop’,which was done as a collaboration with another Canadian producer making waves, Meesha.
The remixes by some of the top US and Canadian Dubstep and Grime producers of the moment make this quite the package featuring ‘Antiserum’, recent Muti artist ‘Subvert’ and a host of Canadian Dubstep producers in Phowa, Taal Mala and Subhuman. The styles range from peak time cabinet rattlers to ethereal dubstep that still has a bit of a bite or rattle to it’s range.

ill.gates is an audio manipulator, Ableton Live performance patch creator and well known producer from Toronto Canada. His previous productions as ‘The Phat Conductor’ and co-productions with Robb G, including remixing the likes of DJ Dan, Myagi and Si Begg have led to top selling tracks on Beatport and also a mention in URB as one of their ‘next 100’ top artists. His versatiliy is evident in the diversity of his productions, which include everything from Hip Hop, Electro House & Techno to Breakbeat, Grime and Dubstep. His debut album as ‘ill.gates’ pushes the envelope and creates some very fresh new perspectives.
