We are honored to have such a quality group of established and emerging artists providing their own take on ‘Irma Vep’, the styles range from Glitch Hop, to deep Dubstep and a few other polyrhythmic versions in between, some feature the vocal and others chose the instrumental route, whatever your preference there should be a version for you.
In the past year, ill.gates (also known as The Phat Conductor), has remixed Si Begg on Noodles, Eprom on Addictech Recordings, Sub Swara on Low Motion Recordings co-produced and remixed DJ Dan with Robb G and released a highly acclaimed artist album ‘Autopirate’. Meesha was first featured on ‘Autopirate’ and has since made a mark for himself in dubstep, one of his tracks was recently included on Starkey’s mix album, Starkbass, out on the Lo Dubs label.
Masia One is one of the most dynamic women in Hip Hop today, fostering a community of B-Girls and promoting independent Hip Hop in Toronto and abroad, you will be hearing a lot more from her on Muti Music.
Following up on past successes, we got some remixes done by some of the most dynamic emerging talent from Canada and USA in the dubstep and ‘glitch-hop’ scenes providing a good variety of vocal and instrumental mixes, many of which are already seeing huge support. This EP is being released along with a great new video of the original tune.
Special thanks to the video production team and artists at Tokyo based www.lightrhythmvisuals.com .

Since his debut last year Mimosa has made his mark on the west coast sound and has become one of the Bay Area music scenes hottest exports. Highly sought after for his production efforts, now also producing with Sleepyhead as Sexytime and with Marine Parades’ hot new artists Panty Raid, made up of Marty Party and Glitch Mob member, Ooah. The Mimosa vs Panty Raid collaborative track ‘Chaos Control’ was also recently featured on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC radio show.
‘Flux For Life’ displays Mimosa’s ‘hard and pretty’ touch, with etheric pads accompanying tough and edgy basslines and melodic synth leads.
All this is set to steady and raging dubstep beats that are dancefloor tested and certified for peak time enjoyment.

——————————– Pro Mobile Magazine Review:
Music that is as progressive as ‘The Orb’ crossing territories never before dreamed of. D’n’B and a slightly Eastern influence combine in a fusion of spacewalk grooves that are superbly crafted. Describing it as ‘New Age’ is the truth, but don’t go thinking that this is some sort of bohemian adventure, because both tracks play tricks withj your mind and drop in unexpected items just when you are least expecting them. ‘Thwomp’ attack could be set in a warzone anywhere…anywhere in the universe that is. If you want action, look no further than the cool cuts for its first escapade.

An-ten-nae - Acid Crunk EP 5 fulfills all the themes that have been featured in this ‘acid crunk’ series that has included performances and remixes by Ghislain Poirier, Face-T, Lawgiverz, Dov, Samba and Outersect.
This time round we are honored to also have Jamaican dancehall star ‘Buccaneer’ featured twice, delivering an awesome vocal performance that flows effortlessly over heavy basslines.
An-ten-nae takes influences from Grime, Dubstep, Hyphe Hip Hop and his prior productions in Electro House and Breakbeat and creates infectious beats for the dancefloor. This new crunked out midtempo sound with driving beats and big hitting basslines has the talk of the west coast and is gaining more attention with BBC Radio - Mary Anne Hobbs recently featuring one of An-ten-nae’s tracks in her ‘West Coast Rocks’ show along with Glitch Mob, Lazer Sword and Gasslamp Killer, following her US west coast tour.
An-ten-ane and his epic club night ‘Get Freaky’ in San Francisco have been a huge factor in pushing this emerging sound, playing alongside everyone from Freq Nasty to Sinden, Medhi, Jahcoozi, Sebastian, Modeselektor, Drop The Lime and the who’s who of ‘Acid Crunk / Glitch Hop’ scenes from the US west coast including ‘Tipper’, ‘The Glitch Mob’ and ‘Bassnectar’.
We have also commissioned An-ten-nae to compile a compilation of his ‘Acid Crunk’ sound now being supported by accomplished producers globally, keep your ears peeled for our Muti Music updates as it will be dropping with a bang, very soon.
‘The Earth Bleed EP is deep and brooding and at other times playful, humorous and uplifting. ‘
Dov’s original mix of ‘Earth Bleed’ delves into ever expanding basslines and organic textures at times reminiscent of volcanic fissures and atmospheric rips. One of USA’s pioneers of electronica, namely ‘Single Cell Orchestra’ takes things even deeper ‘into the darkness’ with a remix of squelchy basslines and a steady groove. Rounding out the remixes of the title track is LayerZ (also known as Audiovoid) delivers a version that is ghostly, haunting and yet helps dig us out of the deep pit of bass with rolling almost melodic basslines. Moving onwards the EP also features a collaboration track with Canadian breaks, dubstep, glitch, techno, electro producer / man of the moment, ill.gates, the track is almost theatrical in nature, with clear dubstep influences, lots of field recording and sound design and also picking up the pace a little and showing much variety in beats and percussion. The EP is rounded of with an uplifting midtempo breakbeat track that is great for something to round off a night.
Dov is known as a genre pusher, from importing-exporting and selling some of the first ‘Nubreaks’, ‘Dubstep’ & ‘Glitch Hop’ to / from USA and throwing San Francisco’s first dedicated ‘breaks’ weekly in the nineties, to selecting and releasing music for multiple labels including his own, namely ‘Muti Music’. Recently producing dubstep remixes for Sub Swara on Low Motion Recordings and experimental / glitch remixes of Posthuman and Welder on Myuzyk and Cyberset Music respectively, Dov now emerges from the shadows with an EP of dubstep and midtempo breaks that is a journey of intense emotions.
